i wish i could crochet, i saw the cutest yarn animals in woman's day magazine.

i do knit (a little), so im gonna try to knit myself pokemon characters. trouble is, i dont know what to stuff them with.

site i go to say “stuffing” but what KIND?! i bought a huge bag of cotton balls, im hoping they dont ooze out b/w the stitches.

any know what im SUPPOSED to stuff them with, though? HELP! thanks. omg that gives me a great idea! instead of sewing the pantyhose onto the inside of my yarn animal, or stuffing it w/ a wadded up pair of pantyhose, im going to stuff a section of leg of pantyhose w/ cotton balls, stitch that up, and stuff it into my yarn animal! that way i dont have to stitch the pantyhose directly onto the yarn itself.

good to you? mind you, my yarn animals not gonna be very big, maybe 6-9″ or so. i know you advised against using cotton balls, but i spent enough money on the yarn, all i need is to shell out another who knows how much for poly fill, right? besides, i dont intend to wash my yarn animals, probably just “beat” the dust off them in the future, so i doubt the cotton balls will give me any trouble, as long as i stuff them into the patyhose, so they dont ooze out.
